🌿 Our Technology: On-Site Green Hydrogen Production

At GreenH2 Alberta Inc., we are transforming how clean hydrogen is produced, stored, and delivered — directly at the point of use.

Our proprietary modular system combines electrolysis, compression, and storage into a compact, scalable unit that generates renewable hydrogen on site, eliminating the need for trucked delivery or centralized production.

Applications

  • Municipal and corporate fleet fuelling (buses, trucks, waste vehicles)
  • Industrial hydrogen use (metal fabrication, chemical processes)
  • Backup or grid power using hydrogen fuel cells
  • Research and demonstration projects in clean energy innovation

How It Works

  1. Renewable Power Input
Our system is powered by renewable electricity (solar, wind, or hydro), converting clean energy directly into hydrogen.
  2. Advanced PEM Electrolysis
Using Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) electrolysis, water (H₂O) is split into hydrogen (H₂) and oxygen (O₂) with high efficiency and no emissions.
  3. Integrated Compression & Storage
The produced hydrogen is immediately compressed and stored safely in high-pressure cylinders for on-demand use.
  4. On-Site Distribution
Hydrogen can be used for fleet refuelling, industrial processes, or power generation — all produced locally, minimizing logistics, emissions, and cost.

Key Advantages

  •  Zero-Emission Hydrogen: 100% renewable energy, 0% carbon footprint.
  •  On-Site Production: No trucking or off-site delivery costs.
  •  Cost Efficiency: Modular design reduces CAPEX and OPEX for end users.
  •  Scalable: Systems range from small-scale pilots to commercial installations.
  •  Made in Alberta: Designed for local industries and harsh Canadian climates.
